Amity is an original “Class A” Friendship Sloop built and designed by Wilbur Morse in 1901 in Friendship, Maine. She is Sail No. 9 in the Friendship Sloop Society. Amity was initially a working lobster boat.         Completely rebuilt in the mid 1970s by the Ralph Stanley yard in Southwest Harbor, her current owners have sailed her for their own enjoyment as well as for day charters. If you are looking for one of  Maine’s classic boats, Amity has been well cared for over the years with her upgraded engine (2013) and new mainsail (2017). She is a beautiful seaworthy Friendship Sloop, surveyed in the fall of 2017.

Lara, Concordia Yawl #48 was built in Germany by Abeking and Rasmussen in 1957. She underwent a year-and-a-half-long major refit and modernization at Maine Traditional Boat in 2014-2015. During that time, was re-built from her bottom (all new keel bolts and 17 new floor timbers, numerous new sister frames, frame ends and bottom planks and a new rudder) to her masthead (all new stainless-steel standing rigging and LED lighting).

She has all new plumbing (including a pressure water system) and wiring, both 12-volt and 110-volt (adding shore-power capability with inverter/charger) and LED lighting throughout. She has all new electronics (including autopilot, digital color radar and sonar, digital charts, and depth and speed indicators) all tied together with an MFD in a custom-built control module at the steering station.
She has been completely refurbished belowdecks with particular emphasis on the galley (major components: new countertop, new 12-volt top-loading refrigerator-freezer, new gimbaled 2-burner alcohol stove, new stainless steel sink and fixtures) and head (major components: new countertop with three-drawer, one-door vanity beneath, new stainless steel wash bowl and fixtures, and new toilet). Hatches and skylights were newly water-sealed and new screens installed throughout.
For entertainment, there is a 28-inch flat-screen smart TV with BlueRay-DVD player and a four-speaker AM-FM-Satellite Sony stereo system with CD player.
There are all new settees with movable backrests for seating/sleeping in the saloon, and a new double berth in the forward stateroom. New upholstery throughout.

At the same time, Lara also got new ground tackle with 240 feet of nylon brait and chain, a new 42-pound Delta anchor, a new electric windlass and a custom bronze bow roller. She has since been sailed out of Belfast, ME, on Penobscot Bay, Down East to Lubec, ME, and down coast to Sandy Hook, NJ, and back. She was re-powered in August of 2016 with a new Yanmar diesel engine. Lara is fitted with a new FeatherStream three-blade feathering prop and comes with a customized eight-foot Puffin dinghy..

As a result of her thorough refit, Lara is one of the “youngest” Concordias in the fleet. A clean 2015 survey by Paul Haley is available.
